Youth Ministry

Our Mission

Teenagers are at one of the most important times in their lives. They are making decisions that will change the future. In the Crossfire Junior High Ministry and the Crossroads High School Ministry, we see how God can help teens make the kind of decisions that will put them on the right road. We want to show you that having a relationship with God and his people can set your world on fire!

Our Leaders

The Youth Ministry leaders are passionate about helping Junior High and High School age kids. Stefan and Julie Rechtlich serve as the Youth Ministers for the Crossroads High School group and Ryan and Lindsey Gross serve as the Junior High Leaders for the Crossfire Junior High Ministry.

Age Groups

The Crossroads Junior High Ministry serves kids in 6th through 8th Grade. Teens in grades 9th-12th are welcome in the Crossroads High School Ministry.

Cross Chat

Each week during the school year, the Youth Ministry Leaders host Cross Chat. There are free snacks, games, and a short Bible lesson and discussion all designed to connect Teens to God and give them a chance to talk about the real issues going on in their lives. Cross Chats meet in various homes across the St. Louis area, so the environment is relaxed and welcoming. We’d love to see you there!

 Events

Throughout the year, the Youth Ministry hosts various events and activities for the Teens of our community. From City Museum nights to themed Dance Parties, we always know how to have a good time! Our members also get to enjoy exciting camps and retreats throughout the year including a life-changing week-long summer camp.
